Today we went to the Downtown Farmers Market in Des Moines. We saw this stand with homemade ice cream. The ice cream makers looked like the old crank machines but were run by a John Deere engine. I immediately thought it was something my dad would enjoy, especially because it was Mike's Ice Cream!
We went out to eat to celebrate our 5 year anniversary last night.

I got these flowers from a student today. "Thanks for being a great teacher," were the words he said as he gave them to me.
Today I made this cake. It is delicious!

Henry loved Poppy's tractor at the farm tonight.
